Beach Fives

I was lucky enough to take eight awesome Parkvale rugby players to the Beach Fives today. The weather came good and every team had a fabulous time.

There were four pools of four teams. We made it through our tough pool (containing Frimley, Irongate and Twyford) winning every game. That put us in the championship pool. After three closely fought games, Parkvale came out on top!








We were all very lucky to participate and contribute in such a fun tournament! Thank you Mr G and the boys!

    In the championship round we played Peterhead, Taradale and Mahora.

      The tournament is really about participation and enjoyment. However, it is nice to win! Two years ago, we did come first for the first time. Last year it was rained out.
